After all this painful waiting period, we finally got the results: DISTINCTION!!! All the effort has paid off! We are obviously all very happy and ready to enjoy the Darwin May Ball tonight

LAGAAN: Once upon a time in India…

 

WOW! What a film!!!

Lagaan is the name of the tax by which the British Cantonment in 1893 oppressed the amazingly cheerful people of Champaner. The action happens through almost four hours of fun! It was the first Bollywood production I have seen and I will never forget it… Well, especially because it was the night when we all said goodbye to our dear Mary, who is going back today to Greece, snif snif!

So my piece of advice is that everyone watches this movie: it is unbelievably well plotted!

Last formal… :-(

Thursday night was the last formal…  It was so said, and yet so cheerful. It did not actually seem a goodbye, but at the same time it was… I want to thank all the people at Wolfie who have supported me through these last few months… These pictures show a girl smiling because of them…
